We have just had the most fantastic short break away in Brooks Cottage Such a fantastic property, luxury finished furnishings, everything you could possibly need and in a quiet village location. The health club/spa was an added bonus, and used it every day, as were the goodies awaiting our arrival. The Lal Khazana restaurant was superb in every accommodating way.All and everyone were an absolute pleasure to deal with, not that we seen to many folk. Thank you, we'll definitely be back again in the future.Loved it Loved it Loved it.

We have just had the most fantastic short break away in Brooks Cottage with our 3 month old baby. Such a fantastic property, luxury finish furnishings, everything you could possibly need and in a lovely village location. The health club/spa was an added bonus, as was the bottle of wine and cake awaiting our arrival. The nearby Indian restaurant was also very nice! Crissy and Anthony were an absolute pleasure to deal with and clearly go that extra mile to look after their guests. Thank you, we'll definitely be back again in the future.

Our second holiday in Northumberland but our first in Village Farm. Warm welcome from staff who were very friendly and eager to please. The Murrayfield cottage is nicely decorated, warm, clean and had everything we needed. A nice place to relax and it was a very peaceful place to stay in.

Close to the A1 and a short drive to places such as Alnwick, Alnmouth and Warkworth, with plenty to see and explore.

The village itself is quiet and peaceful. It has a pub and an Indian restaurant, both of which are friendly and accommodating.

A well deserved break in this small village in Shilbottle, we wont hesitate in recommending this village and the Murrayfield cottage.

We stayed at Farriers View Cottage, Village Farm for the New Year break as part of an extended family group for my 60th birthday celebration. The cottage is lovely, we were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed the lovely homemade cake and bottle of wine left for us. The fresh cut flowers were very thoughtful too. We had lots of room in the cottage and all of our bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms were great. We loved that the kitchen and lounge were open plan and all and thoroughly enjoyed gathering around the woodburner in the evenings. The kitchen is very well equipped- perfect for catering for large groups and we thoroughly enjoyed taking turns at cooking. We all loved the spa area and my little granddaughter and baby grandson really loved the swimming pool (during quiet time we had the pool to ourselves a couple of times which was lovely). Chrissie even arranged for robes for myself and my two daughters to use in the spa area on my birthday as the beauty salon was closed for the New Year holiday. Weather wasnt too great when we stayed though still managed to get out and about to Alnwick and Alnmouth. Can also really recommend the Cook and Barker Inn at Newton on the Moor for a delicious Sunday lunch (booking recommended). Overall, a great stay and we would love to come back.
