We have just returned from a long weekend in Viewfield. This was a birthday celebration with a family of eight (ages 3-69), and we made a perfect choice. The initial welcoming touch of the wine, chocolates and cake made us feel at home straight away and we were bowled over by the size of the cottage. We loved the leisure facilities (including the beauty treatment)and truly had a wonderful time being together relaxing in such a beautiful house. Thank you for giving such great service. |

Having decided not to travel abroad this year, we spent a lovely week in Cedar Chalet in July. Although the weather wasn't as good as we'd hoped, the comfortable accomodation and excellent leisure facilites ensured that we had a very pleasant stay. The chalet itself was well positioned, spotlessly clean, and well equipped. We were pleasantly surprised at how homely the chalet was, although the website did describe everything accurately. Despite the intermittent bad weather, we managed to explore the surrounding countryside as far as possible, and we visited Bamburgh beach (an old favourite), and spent a rainy afternoon at Alnwick Gardens and Castle, which really is beautiful. Next time we hope to have dinner at the Treehouse Restaurant. Thank you for a very pleasant stay. We hope to return next year, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Village Farm to friends and relatives. |

What an excellent holiday destination, we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay in June 2011, not only was the accommodation and leisure facilities first class but the weather was very well behaved too (it only rained at night)! All ages 6-76 had a ball the local area is brilliant something for us all, we will definitely be coming back to Coquet Lodge again, very comfortable and a superb quiet location with 1st class facilities. Looking forward to our next visit and we have only been home a day!!! |

We stayed in Wool Cottage, mid May with our two wee boys (ages 3 years and 18 months). We all loved it. The play park (especially ride-on tractors)were a huge hit, as was the swimming pool. Everything is run quietly and efficiently. Really good value compared to many more popular areas in Scotland. This area should be more popular though. Alnwick is a lovely town to wander around - Barter books being a particular favourite. The castle and gardens are great too (if pricey), but the tree-top restaurant is surprisingly good value. Amazing place. Local beaches are superb and we did a day trip to Beamish Museum which could have kept us going for 3 days if we'd had more time. All in all a great location and great cottages with fantastic facilities. We'll be back! |

My family has been staying at Village Farm for the last 6 years. We have had 7 fabulous holidays. The accommodation is excellent and the facilities on site are great. We swim, play cricket, tennis, football and tabletennis. We are members of the National Trust and Historic Houses Association allowing us to visit a multitude of Castles and Gardens in close proximity. The beaches are unspoilt and quiet. Thanks for many happy holidays. |
