Murrayfield (Sleeps 6)

Perfect for a self-catering cottage holiday in Northumberland, this delightful self-catering holiday cottage is in Shilbottle village and is thus separate from both Village Farm and Town Foot Farm. However, it's only about 250 yards from Village Farm and guests are welcome to use all the facilities there, plus Murrayfield now has its own luxurious hot tub.

We have transformed Murrayfield from a two-bedroom bungalow, sleeping four, into a three-bedroom luxury property, sleeping six.

This comfortable house comprises a beautiful sitting room with windows facing west, east and south, giving spectacular views. There is comfortable seating around a wood-burning stove and a door gives access to the hot tub on the decking and to the rear garden, which is secure and private. From this garden, there are fantastic views to Cheviot hills and Alnwick, across the fields.

The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dining table. The rear door leads to the separate utility room, which houses a washing machine, tumble drier and a toilet.

The bedrooms comprise a super-king size double (which can be made into twins) with a bay window facing the front garden, and an en-suite shower. Also facing south is a double with an en-suite shower. The third bedroom has twin beds (that can be made up as a super-king double) with an en-suite bathroom with over-bath shower.

There is also an EV charging point located nearby at the Health Club if you require it.

Murrayfield is a non-smoking and pet-free holiday cottage.
